Emily Swide is a graduate of the Master of Public Policy program at UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy. Most recently, she served as Director of Scheduling in the Office of Governor Gavin Newsom and Director of Scheduling and Advance for the Governor’s gubernatorial campaign. Before that, she worked for Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf on her re-election campaign and managed the successful campaign of Shanell Williams forBoard of Trustees at City College of San Francisco.
Emily has volunteered at San Quentin State Prison with both the California Reentry Program and the San Quentin News. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. As a Bay Area native, she is a lifelong Warriors fan and California evangelist.
