Griselda Melgoza

California 100 Public Affairs Manager

Griselda Melgoza is the Public Affairs Manager for the California 100 initiative. Previously, she served as Deputy Director of Advance in the Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom, where she worked on the state’s COVID crisis response efforts, as well as the public awareness campaigns for Project HomeKey and the Clean California Initiative. She also led programming and planning for the Governor’s signing of the law enforcement use-of-force bill AB 392, the first-ever State of the State address hosted at Dodger Stadium, and the Governor’s first international trip to El Salvador, which brought attention to the root causes of migration. Previously, she worked on the Governor’s 2018 campaign. Griselda graduated with a BA in political science with special honors from the University of California, Riverside.
