Mallory Johnson

Graduate Student Researcher

Mallory Johnson is a Graduate Student Researcher at the Possibility Lab and a first-year Master of Public Policy student at the Goldman School of Public Policy.  Prior to graduate school, Mallory worked with federal agencies like the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Department of Defense on program implementation and evaluation, strategy, and policy design. Most recently she supported the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, who leads the Military Health System.

Mallory’s policy interests center on the intersection of good governance and trust, with a particular focus on health care. She believes that government is the most powerful vehicle for improving lives when it remains responsive to those it serves, and she is motivated by opportunities to design and implement policies in collaboration with communities.

In her free time, Mallory enjoys trying new recipes, picking up crafty hobbies, and reading through Boxall’s list of 1001 Books to Read Before You Die.
