Prior to pursuing his Ed.M., Michael was a
field representative and internal organizer with SEIU-UHW, a labor union that represents California healthcare workers. He received his B.A. from Kenyon College.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys reading, seeing live music, and biking around Northern California on an endless quest in search of the best coffee and pizza spots in the area.
