We partner with public-sector and community organizations who are interested in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible to advance innovative solutions in public policy, and we pride ourselves on taking on ambitious projects with the potential to change how problems are solved, particularly in the areas of equity, engagement, and empowerment.

Why Become a Partner?

WhAT IS data-driven innovation?

We strive to take on projects that provide ‘proof of concept’ for potentially transformative ideas, and each project helps us learn something new about how government and communities can collect and share data; pilot and evaluate new ideas; build capacity; and work together to solve pressing social challenges. By working together, we aim to ensure that innovations are feasible in the short term, scalable in the future, and make meaningful progress towards systemic change.

How can we work together?

Possibility Lab projects are co-designed and carried out as a partnership between our research team and public agencies, non-profits, or community organizations. Depending on the project, the Possibility Lab might take a leading, supporting, design, implementation, evaluation, and/or dissemination and scale-up role. Basically, there are lots of different ways for us to collaborate! If you’d like to explore how we might work together, please contact us.
