Randy Clopton
Research Associate

Randy has a strong background in both quantitative and qualitative research, including advanced training in econometric methods, statistical machine learning, and qualitative program evaluation tools. As a student, he focused his work on economics and policy analysis, with a strong focus on data-driven approaches to assessing policy problems, evaluating alternatives, and crafting recommendations. He has applied his skills in several ways across the broader research and policy spectrum, including conducting program evaluations, recommending improvements for local government data privacy and governance, and producing analytics relating to Medicare fraud detection. Randy is also a classically trained cellist and baritone and continue to work as a session musician and composer in his free time.
